Role Summary: In this role, you will guide clients through the complexities of investment choices, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors to align with their values and financial objectives. You will play a crucial role in devising strategies that not only meet financial goals but also contribute positively to society and the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide bespoke investment advice considering clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and preferences.
- Analyse investments using ESG criteria to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Maintain and deepen client relationships through consistent communication and regular updates.
- Collaborate with team members to develop integrated wealth management strategies.
- Keep abreast of market trends, ESG research, and financial regulations to offer informed advice.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your understanding of ESG issues.
- Educate clients on the advantages of ESG investing in achieving both their financial and ethical objectives.
- Utilise advanced financial tools to analyse complex data and recommend effective ESG investment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees and qualifications (CFP, CFA) with a focus on Investment Risk and Taxation are highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of ESG principles and their practical application in investment scenarios.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to articulate complex financial information to a diverse audience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service.
- Proficient with financial planning software and other technological tools.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
