Role Overview:

Join our direct public equity investment team as a Junior ESG Analyst. This entry-level role is ideally suited to recent graduates eager to develop their careers in ESG-focused equity investment analysis. You will assist in integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into investment strategies and contribute to our firm's commitment to sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the integration of ESG factors into fundamental equity investment analysis and due diligence.

Support the monitoring of ESG factors within our internal equity portfolios, helping to evaluate ESG risks and relay findings to senior portfolio managers.

Participate in the preparation of ESG reports for internal stakeholders and assist in firm-wide Responsible Investment initiatives.

Help develop and execute engagement plans with investment targets, and participate in the proxy voting process.

Stay informed about the latest ESG market developments and regulatory changes, assisting in the enhancement of ESG procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic track record.

• Interest in obtaining CFA or relevant qualifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• FCA/PRA certification

• Keen interest in equity investing and sustainability.

• Basic understanding of ESG concepts and sustainability practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of handling data and preparing reports.
